What To Do When Involved in an Accident
Over the years, East Wey Auto body has proudly helped customers with all types of minor body scratches, dents or major collision damages. We are not only SGI accredited, but ranked as ELITE. This is only granted to top repair shops, and those reviewed 3 out of 3 stars. For your repair, we use quality after-market, recycled, or re-manufactured parts. Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts will also be used, especially on current model years or if you have replacement cost coverage in your insurance. We accept all insurance claims and offer free estimates.
1. Relax & Breathe
Check if you or any of your passengers require any immediate medical attention. If safe to do so and if vehicles are drivable, move out of the way of other traffic.
If your vehicle was involved in a hit and run, you will require a police file number before calling SGI to report the incident if you do not know who hit you.
2. Collect Information
When in an accident with another vehicle, take down the license plate number, driver license numbers and the full name of the person. Get any eyewitnesses’ information.
3. Report to SGI
Report the incident to SGI at 1-800-647-6448 or go online to https://www.sgi.sk.ca/eclaim.
During the claim reporting process, you can schedule an appointment with SGI for an estimate or call East Wey Auto Body at 306-842-7324.
When we write up the estimate for you, we can also then book you right in and start your repairs.
